This role is a senior technical leadership position at the center of a large-scale transformation toward cloud-native, data-driven healthcare systems. You will define and evolve enterprise architecture across a complex ecosystem spanning cloud migration, data platforms, and AI-enabled healthcare analytics. The position plays a critical role in ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and regulatory compliance while enabling modern digital capabilities. You will work across engineering, data, DevOps, and business teams in an Agile and SAFe-driven environment. The role requires balancing strategic architecture design with hands-on guidance for modernization initiatives across Azure Cloud and distributed systems. You will also influence long-term technology direction, helping shape how healthcare data is processed, secured, and transformed into actionable insights. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly affect system performance, compliance, and patient outcome innovation.
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and modernization goals
- Lead architectural decision-making across Agile Release Trains and SAFe environments, ensuring consistency and scalability across programs
- Drive cloud transformation initiatives, overseeing migration from on-premise systems to Azure Cloud with focus on performance, security, and scalability
- Design and promote cloud-native architectures using Azure services, DevOps automation, and modern infrastructure patterns
- Architect enterprise data platforms supporting large-scale healthcare analytics using technologies such as Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into enterprise systems to support automation and advanced decision intelligence
- Define architecture standards, manage technical debt, and guide remediation strategies to improve long-term system maintainability
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, SOC, and HITRUST across all architectural designs
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define solution intent and guide execution
- Provide mentorship and architectural leadership to engineering teams within Agile delivery frameworks
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or related technical leadership roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and cloud-native architecture design and implementation
- Deep expertise in Java, Spark, Kubernetes, and modern distributed system architectures
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience working in SAFe environments
- Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale enterprise systems in complex, regulated environments
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise platforms and workflows
- Strong system design, architectural governance, and technical strategy skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including collaboration with executive and cross-functional teams
- Preferred: experience in healthcare data domains such as claims, clinical, or analytics systems
- Preferred: background in DevOps, data engineering, or enterprise platform modernization initiatives
