This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Workday Senior Certified HCM Consultant in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver end-to-end Workday HCM implementations for enterprise clients, shaping how human capital processes are designed, configured, and optimized. You will work in a dynamic, client-facing environment, collaborating with technical teams, integrators, and stakeholders to ensure successful deployments across multiple Workday modules. The position involves mentoring colleagues, providing expertise in best practices, and supporting integrations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will also help clients adopt solutions effectively and contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment methodologies. This role is remote-friendly within the United States, providing flexibility while maintaining high-impact responsibilities.
Lead or guide Workday HCM deployments, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer.
Provide expertise across multiple Workday modules, such as HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning, and Payroll/Time & Absence.
Collaborate with integration teams to ensure Workday solutions connect effectively with third-party systems.
Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Maintain client satisfaction, ensuring successful adoption and referenceable deployments.
Innovate deployment strategies, identify process improvements, and share best practices across projects.
Deliver client demonstrations, status reports, and professional guidance to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements:
Current Workday HCM or Payroll Certification plus at least one additional HCM module certification.
2–4+ years of Workday configuration and implementation experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Prior consulting experience with Workday or similar HCM platforms (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate).
Functional HR experience and knowledge of HCM business processes.
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deployments and timelines.
Strong verbal and written communication, business analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to mentor others, resolve complex tasks, and maintain high client satisfaction.
Willingness to travel approximately 25% depending on project requirements.
