Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for performing supply chain activities, including, but not limited to, distribution, warehouse, storeroom and receiving functions within the facility at the direction of Supply Chain leadership.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills required
• Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

• Computer knowledge
• Valid NJ Driver’s License
• Hospital experience

Schedule:

Shift: Day

Hours: 37.5 hrs

Status: Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Performs receiving functions, PAR stocking and replenishment, and storeroom activities using hospital technology
• Assists SC management in facilitating and expediting the flow of materials to and from departments within the medical center maintaining chain of custody for all products.
• Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training and initiatives.
• Reports any safety concerns to management,

• Keeps work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstructions
• Manages inventory according to policy & procedure
• Manages all inbound and outbound deliveries in compliance with policy & procedure
• Manages perpetual inventory as outlined in policy & procedure
• Exercises problem-solving skills to meet customer needs
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• Participates in ongoing education as required
