Role Overview
As an GenAI Outcome Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to U.S. Federal Government agencies navigating the adoption of generative AI. Working at the intersection of deep technical expertise and mission-driven consulting, you will design, architect, and deliver GenAI solutions, from AI-powered document processing pipelines to full-scale enterprise AI transformations, that directly support the national security and modernization missions GAI is known for.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Collaboration & Solution Delivery
● Collaborate with Customers: Partner directly with federal agency and enterprise teams to understand mission requirements and design and implement tailored GenAI solutions—ranging from simple GenAI-powered document processing pipelines to full-scale AI business transformations.
● Lead Technical Discovery & Solutioning: Translate ambiguous or evolving customer goals into prioritized use cases, clear success criteria, and an executable validation plan that aligns with the organization’s mission.
● Architect & Present Solutions: Design scalable reference architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments—including data pipelines and integration paths aligned with federal security and compliance requirements. Present solution designs to both technical teams and executive stakeholders (including senior government officials) through compelling whiteboard sessions, demos, and written proposals.
● Enable Repeatability: Productize learnings into reusable demo assets, solution templates, and playbooks; coach account executives, partners, and agency stakeholders on GenAI best practices.
● Be the Customer’s Voice: Gather and share field insights to influence the GenAI solutions roadmap; partner closely with internal and OEM teams to identify gaps and accelerate solution development.
● Support Post-Sale Handoff: Partner with account teams to ensure all success criteria are met and knowledge is effectively transferred, enabling seamless customer adoption and long-term success.
GenAI Technical Leadership
● Apply hands-on expertise across LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, evaluation/observability, and AI guardrails/safety frameworks.
● Codify field learnings into reusable demos, solution templates, and playbooks; enable account executives, partners, and agency stakeholders with GenAI best practices.
● Track the rapidly evolving GenAI landscape and introduce pragmatic innovations that advance GAI’s AI & Data Strategy capabilities.

- Travel 35–50% for on-site customer engagements, federal workshops, and industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, including 5+ years in enterprise software, data platforms, or AI/ML products.
- Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or higher, or the ability to obtain and maintain clearance up to SAP levels.
- Enterprise Background: Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching strategies. Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git. Commitment to clean architecture, modular codebases, and well-structured data models.
- Executive Communications: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; comfortable presenting to both deeply technical and executive audiences.
- Consultative mindset: Bias to clarify outcomes, de-risk unknowns, and turn customer asks into actionable solution plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building secure, scalable authentication systems (OAuth2, SSO, etc.).
- Exposure to AI/ML tooling, vector databases, or real-time inference workloads.
- Prior experience supporting U.S. Federal Government or Department of Defense customers.
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust Architecture).
