Overview
Lutron is seeking service-focused individuals to join our Technical Support team at our Global Service & Experience Center, at Cyber City, Gurgaon. This role are ideal for those who are passionate about delivering outstanding support and creating exceptional customer experiences.
As a member of our team, you’ll provide technical assistance to a wide range of customers — from retail end users to residential and commercial clients — helping them get the most out of Lutron’s innovative lighting and shading solutions.
Responsibilities
- Address specification, installation, programming, and troubleshooting inquiries with confidence and accuracy.
- Expand technical expertise proactively by resolving challenges beyond areas of prior training.
- Strengthen interpersonal skills to enhance collaboration, leadership, and supervisory effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, supporting field engineers on all assigned systems.
- Lead resolution of Level 2 field issues or escalate as needed while partnering crossfunctionally to improve solutions.
- Implement and oversee technical and operational training programs to drive continuous skill development.
- Support team initiatives and identify opportunities for ongoing process and performance improvement.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while diagnosing and resolving Lutron system issues.
- Document issues and resolutions accurately, escalating cases per SOP and coordinating with crossfunctional teams.
- Represent Lutron’s values through strong customer experience, effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and thorough issue closure.
Qualifications
- 4year Engineering degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
- Minimum, aggregate of 60% marks
- 4–7 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Handson exposure to control systems, HVAC controls, BMS, power transmission, electrical installation/safety, or powergeneration control/safety.
- Proven technical operations and troubleshooting skills across specification, installation, programming, and issue resolution.
- Solid working knowledge of analytical/data tools (Excel required; basic SQL familiarity preferred).
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple technical priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others within the discipline.
- Excellent communication skills in English with a strong customercentric approach.
- Selfmotivated, analytical, and proficient with MS Office and webbased tools.
- Ability to work in a rotating 3shift schedule (including occasional weekend shifts within a 5day workweek).
