About the role:

The Solutions Consultant is a revenue-generating, client-facing sales role responsible for driving new and expansion revenue across our full product catalog within the Education or Corporate markets. This position owns the solution strategy throughout the sales cycle—leading discovery, positioning value, and advancing opportunities from first conversation through close.

Serving as a trusted advisor to colleges and universities, the Solution Sales Consultant engages institutional leaders to uncover operational and academic challenges, align those needs to our portfolio of workflow automation and data solutions, and influence buying decisions through outcome-driven solution design. This role sells a newly launched business process automation capability while also expanding adoption across complementary solutions within our broader catalog.

As the primary point of contact for prospects, the Solutions Consultant manages the solution-led sales motion, shapes deal strategy, and builds executive-level credibility to accelerate pipeline progression and close revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate net-new and expansion revenue by selling a comprehensive product portfolio
  • Own discovery and qualification conversations, identify institutional priorities, buying criteria, and decision dynamics
  • Design, position, and sell tailored solutions that clearly articulate value, outcomes, and ROI
  • Lead solution presentations, demonstrations, and executive-level conversations that advance deals toward close
  • Develop and execute deal strategies, including solution packaging, positioning, and objection handling
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with institutional decision-makers to support long-term revenue growth
  • Accurately manage opportunities through the pipeline to support forecasting and revenue predictability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sold solutions align to delivery and long-term customer success

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Education.
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative sales, preferably education, or business process automation
  • Hands-on experience with low-code workflow automation platforms
  • Proven experience in a consulting role or similar position, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable speaking with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize complex business processes and deliver clear, impactful solution recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Proven experience managing pipeline, deals, and forecasts within a CRM environment (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience working with clients in industries such as K12 or higher education, finance, healthcare, or government
  • Background in ed tech, business analysis or process improvement
  • Experience with enterprise IT environments, security requirements, and cloud-based deployments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in SaaS, automation, or BPM.
  • Hands-on experience with low-code workflow automation platforms
  • Strong understanding of process mapping (BPMN), automation strategy, and systems integration (APIs, webhooks, etc.).
  • Proven experience in a consulting role or similar position, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable speaking with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize complex business processes and deliver clear, impactful solution recommendations.
