Tire Changer/ General Mechanic at Heller Gas INC – Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania

The Tire Changer/ General Mechanic position is responsible for the following:

• Mechanical background preferred
• General maintenance of vehicles
• Mounting Tires
• Painting
• Running for parts, picking up trucks, drivers, etc.
• Any positions needed in the garage

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, Clean Driver’s record, and reliable transportation
• Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing

Competencies:

• Communication
• Technical and mechanical skills
• Capable of working independently

This job operates in the field, both indoors and outdoors depending on the scope of work

Required to be able to lift and move heavy items like tires, rims, and parts. Some job functions will be performed outdoors and expose the employee to changing weather conditions.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position and regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.in addition to weekends on an as-needed basis with the ability to work outside of or in addition to those hours as needed.

Travel:

Must be willing to travel. Travel expectation outside of the local area can vary.
