Job Description:

Combat System Technician

Conducts repair and failure analysis on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs). Subject Matter Expert with all AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment. Familiar with all legacy SONAR and modern AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR equipment. Analyzes failures and faults and provides corrective solutions required in order to implement equipment repair. Conducts testing and restoration activities as required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $34.00 - $46.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
