Plumbing Logistics & Resource Coordinator – Service Department
Position SummaryThe Logistics & Resource Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by ensuring technicians are properly scheduled, equipped, and supported to complete their work efficiently. This role combines dispatch coordination, customer communication, administrative support, and hands-on logistics responsibilities including materials handling, warehouse organization, and fleet coordination.
This position works closely with service leadership, technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth daily operations, accurate scheduling, and effective resource management.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency service calls
• Dispatch technicians and manage daily service scheduling
• Prepare and communicate next-day schedules to technicians
• Review job closeouts and schedule outstanding work
• Communicate schedule updates with customers
• Create Time & Material (T&M) invoices
• Generate and track purchase orders and requisitions
• Assist with billing and job closeout documentation
• Enter quotes, send to customers, and assist with approvals
• Invoice completed jobs
• Assist with material and stock orders
Core Responsibilities – Fleet & Facilities• Coordinate service vehicle scheduling and maintenance
• Conduct vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, batteries, etc.)
• Assist with shop and facility maintenance activities
• Support vehicle transportation and grounds-related needs
• Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, vendors, and project teams
• Monitor job progress and provide support as needed
• Assist with training scheduling and service meetings
• Support KPI tracking and reporting
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain strong organization and attention to detail
• Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Demonstrate accountability and a strong work ethic

• Ability to manage scheduling, logistics, and administrative tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and business systems (BuildOps, ADP preferred)
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in real time
• High attention to detail
Full-time position.
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Schedule may vary based on business demand, with limited overtime as needed.
Hourly position, competitive wages based on experience.
