Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Production Support Technician to support the assembly and production of specialized laboratory refrigeration and climate-control systems. This role combines light mechanical assembly, insulation work, and refrigeration system support, making it ideal for someone looking to grow within a technical manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in keeping production moving while gaining exposure to refrigeration, fabrication, and system assembly processes.

What You'll Do
• Assist in the assembly and preparation of refrigeration and climate-control units
• Support installation of components such as compressors, coils, and tubing
• Assist with insulation of refrigeration systems to ensure efficiency and performance
• Perform light mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
• Mount components, fasten parts, and assist in building complete units
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and basic diagrams
• Support multiple departments to maintain workflow and reduce production delays
• Assist with basic tasks in fabrication, wiring, and final assembly as needed
• Move materials, components, and finished units between departments
• Support staging of parts for upcoming production builds
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow safety procedures and assist in maintaining quality standards

Qualifications
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude; comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read basic drawings or willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a team-based setting
• Ability to adapt and support multiple areas throughout the shop
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs.
• Previous manufacturing, HVAC, or mechanical experience is a plus
