We are currently seeking a Data and Systems Analyst to join our IT team in Seattle, WA.
What will YOU do?
The role of the Data and Systems Analyst is to support Sound Generations Data Reporting and Management needs.
Pay Rate: $112,300 per year.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, during operating business hours, with two days in office in our downtown Seattle office.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize and manage a centralized internal data environment for storing and querying data.
- Write effective SQL code to query available data for analysis and visualization.
- Clean, analyze, and visualize data in software platforms such as PowerBI and Tableau for internal teams and Sound Generations partners.
- Manage the process of moving program client/service data into the Washington State GetCare system and provide all necessary reports out of that system to Program Directors.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of how data is stored, queried, and analyzed.
- Consult with program staff to guide effective data collection and reporting practices for both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Work with program staff and leadership to develop requested data presentations.
- Support the creation and testing of data collection tools that meet the measurement and reporting needs of the organization - including reporting, survey, transcription, and qualitative coding tools.
- Provide support in responding to any third-party data requests, such as funder reporting, evaluation activities, etc.
- Continuously work with organization leadership and program staff to identify and gain access to internal and external data needed to support our goal of being a data informed organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4 years of experience in data analysis and technical proficiency with quantitative data using coding/statistical software(s)
- 2 years’ experience writing SQL code
- 2 years’ experience managing Power Bl workspaces, data visualizations, and paginated reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data management and analysis in a social services and/or healthcare context
- Experience working with data in customized Salesforce database systems
- Experience analyzing qualitative data
- Tableau certification
- PowerBI certification
- Excel proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop
