  • Provide strategic tax input on M&A, restructuring, treasury operations, financing, and commercial contract structuring
  • Monitor global tax legislation changes and assess business impact while ensuring governance and internal control improvements
  • Lead tax audits, dispute resolution, and interactions with tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Develop scalable tax processes, tools, and documentation to support a growing multinational structure
  • Support forecasting, cash tax planning, and continuous improvement of tax operations and efficiency
Requirements

This role requires a seasoned tax leader with deep international expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate in complex, multi-entity environments. You will need:

  • 10+ years of corporate tax experience in multinational and multi-currency organizations
  • Professional accounting or tax designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent), with advanced tax credentials considered an asset
  • Strong expertise in international tax, including transfer pricing, CFC rules, withholding tax, and global structuring
  • Solid experience with IFRS tax provisions and global compliance frameworks
  • Background in M&A, restructuring, and post-acquisition integration activities
  • Ability to translate complex tax concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders globally
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and tax/financial analysis tools (ERP experience is a plus)
  • Fluent English required; French considered an asset
  • Highly autonomous, structured, and comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation and global leadership exposure
  • Flexible remote work within Canada
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Additional day off on your birthday
  • Paid flex days between Christmas and New Year
  • Discount on public transit pass (Montreal)
  • Strong ESG-focused culture centered on sustainability, people, and performance
