About This Position
Adamas Building Services is looking to hire a Beach Supervisor needed until LABOR DAY!
Shifts Available: Sunday- Wednesday 9am-6pm with an Hour Lunch
Pay Rate: $25.00+/ Hour depending on Experience
Beach Attendants will be responsible for:
- Oversee daily beach and pool operations, ensuring a high standard of guest service, safety, and overall presentation.
- Actively assist Beach Attendants with setting up chairs, umbrellas, and towels, ensuring all areas are guest-ready at all times.
- Lead by example by greeting guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Ensure all guest interactions are courteous, informative, and thorough, stepping in to resolve escalated guest concerns when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all beach and pool areas, including chairs, umbrellas, tables, restrooms, locker rooms, and waste stations.
- Monitor and support attendants in responding to guest needs promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with distributing clean towels and ensure proper tracking, documentation, and collection procedures are followed.
- Supervise and participate in the daily setup of beach, pool, and locker room stations.
- Monitor beach and pool access points to ensure only authorized/registered guests are utilizing the facilities; address unauthorized access when necessary.
- Ensure accurate towel inventory control, including documentation of issued and returned towels, and proper billing for unreturned items.
- Train, guide, and support Beach Attendants, providing direction while also working alongside the team during busy periods.
- Communicate hotel amenities, menus, and services clearly and professionally to guests.
- Assist as a food runner during peak service times or when beach/pool operations allow.
- Maintain accountability for operational documentation and reporting accuracy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, with a hands-on leadership approach.
High School diploma preferred
Must have open availability including weekends
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.
Job related experience in a similar setting preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff verbally and in written form.
Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Must be able to work varied shifts including weekend, holidays, early morning and mid-day/early evening.
