Assistant Pool Manager at The Town of Orono – Orono, Maine

The Town of Orono is hiring an Assistant Pool Manager for the Nickerson Pool! The Nickerson Pool is an outdoor municipal pool operated by the Town of Orono. We are looking for an individual who has experience working as a lifeguard in public pools. This person will work well with others and be friendly to our patrons. They will assist the Parks and Recreation Director and the Pool Operations Manager in ensuring the Nickerson Pool has a fun and safe summer season. This position will be required to work some weekends and assist in administrative tasks as assigned. You must hold a current Lifeguard Certification to be considered for this position. Formal onboarding and training days are tentatively scheduled for the week of June 15th. Pool hours are staff dependent; the tentative pool schedule is from Mid-June until late August. Tentative pool hours are from 11am-7pm. Daily schedules will include a guard rotation. This a seasonal position reporting to the Parks and Recreation Director and work closely with the Pool Manager.

Pay Scale $18.00-$21.00 per hour.
