About the Position:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bakery Associate to join our team. This role will focus on baking high-quality products, including breads, sweets, ice creams and other baked goods, while ensuring a clean and well-organized bakery environment. You will work independently and as part of a team to produce exceptional products that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bread Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of bread products such as baguettes, boules, toaster loaves, steakhouse bread, and pizza dough.
• Dough Preparation: Make dough from scratch to support daily bread bakes.
• Sweets & Pastries: Make and bake cookies, scones, ice creams, and other baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Retail Case Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized retail display, restocking items as needed.
• General Bakery Prep: Prepare ingredients for items like cinnamon rolls, cakes, cookies, brownies, pies, and more. Package baked goods for sale.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Take responsibility for your own dishes, and assist with closing duties such as sweeping, trash disposal, and cleaning prep tables at the end of the shift.

Essential Requirements:

• Prior Bakery Experience: Experience in bakery or similar roles is required.
• Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with hearth bread baking techniques and bakery equipment.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and stay on task.
• Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and a positive attitude.
• Communication: Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively and work as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for the entire shift, and perform repetitive motions.
• Food Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and ability to follow Idaho's food safety and sanitation laws.
• Equipment Handling: Proficiency in using bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and other tools.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while maintaining quality and safety.
