About the Role:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This position focuses on building strong relationships with potential clients through strategic outreach and effective communication, ultimately contributing to the sales pipeline. The BDR will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales engagement tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or software industry.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling or Challenger Sales.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and lead qualification metrics.
  • Additional certifications in sales or business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social media to generate new business leads.
  • Qualify inbound leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making authority to determine sales readiness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and pipeline activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations between qualified prospects and the sales team.
  • Continuously research industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide timely feedback to management on market insights and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
