Accountabilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and usability of software systems through structured testing, automation, and collaboration across Agile development teams.

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for container-based applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and domain experts to define test scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Perform functional, usability, and accessibility testing, ensuring compliance with standards such as Section 508 and WCAG 2.1.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using modern programming and testing tools.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze requirements to ensure complete test coverage and accurate validation of software behavior.
  • Document and communicate test results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation practices, and quality standards.
Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing expertise with automation skills, Agile experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on test automation and framework development.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with container-based applications and modern development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of test design methodologies, usability testing, and requirements-based validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing workflows.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Git, GitLab, and IDEs like Visual Studio or Eclipse.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to document, present, and explain technical findings clearly.
  • Experience with accessibility testing standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.1).
  • Security clearance eligibility (U.S. citizens only due to project requirements).
