Remote Care Management Associate
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Care Management Coordinator - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating efficient care management services, helping to ensure timely patient discharges and coordination with financial services. Your contributions will enhance the healthcare experience for patients and support operational efficiency within the organization. This position allows you to expand your understanding of insurance authorizations and engage with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes. Accountabilities- Facilitate efficient Care Management services.
- Monitor compliance with assigned responsibilities and coordinate with patient financial services.
- Conduct initial and continued clinical authorization reviews.
- Ensure coverage for 24/7 on-call processes and weekend coverage.
- Analyze reports on observation status reviews and actual discharges.
- Distribute results of reports on Care Management activities to staff.
- Ensure necessary documentation for clinical justification and reimbursement.
- Coordinate authorizations and clinical reviews with case managers.
- Maintain files for compliance with regulations and standards.
- Document and maintain meeting minutes.
- Complete bi-weekly payroll reports as required.
- Knowledge of financial and utilization review software such as ECIN and InterQual.
- Two years of experience in hospital care management.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with report analysis and compliance monitoring.
