Accountabilities

Facilitate efficient Care Management services.
Monitor compliance with assigned responsibilities and coordinate with patient financial services.

Analyze reports on observation status reviews and actual discharges.
Distribute results of reports on Care Management activities to staff.
Ensure necessary documentation for clinical justification and reimbursement.
Coordinate authorizations and clinical reviews with case managers.
Maintain files for compliance with regulations and standards.
Document and maintain meeting minutes.
Complete bi-weekly payroll reports as required.

Requirements

Knowledge of financial and utilization review software such as ECIN and InterQual.
Two years of experience in hospital care management.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with report analysis and compliance monitoring.
