POSITION SUMMARY
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets within Bluejack National. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in hotel, resort, or private club environments who is passionate about delivering high-quality dining experiences, leading teams, and ensuring operational consistency. This position works closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to uphold service standards, support financial goals, and enhance the overall member and guest experience across all dining venues and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Operations Management
· Support daily food and beverage operations in partnership with and under the direction of the Food & Beverage Director.
· Assist in overseeing service standards, ensuring consistency across all dining outlets.
· Maintain compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and TABC/state liquor regulations, as well as club policies and procedures.
· Maintain an active presence during service periods to support staff, oversee service flow, and engage with members and guests.
· Identify and communicate opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and overall operations.
Financial & Operational Support
· Assist with monitoring labor, cost of goods, and operating expenses to support financial goals.
· Support inventory control, purchasing, and vendor coordination to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
· Review operational reports and provide feedback to the Food & Beverage Director.
Team Leadership & Development
· Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and supervising Food & Beverage team members.
· Help foster a positive, service-driven culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
· Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate service expectations, menu knowledge, and daily priorities.
· Provide coaching and feedback to team members to support performance and development.
Member & Guest Experience
· Provide a visible leadership presence on the floor to ensure a high level of service and hospitality.
· Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally, escalating as needed.
· Support efforts to enhance the overall dining experience in alignment with club standards.
Events & Collaboration
· Support the execution of club events, private functions, and special programming.
· Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
· Assist with coordinating staffing and service needs for events.
Administrative Responsibilities
· Support oversight of point-of-sale systems to ensure accurate reporting and billing.
· Assist with preparing operational reports and tracking performance metrics.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
· Assist with special projects as assigned by the Food & Beverage Director.
· Provide hands-on support during peak business periods.
· Uphold all service standards, procedures, and club values.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· 3–5 years of experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or private club environment.
· Previous supervisory or leadership experience in food and beverage operations preferred.
· Strong understanding of service standards and food and beverage operations.
· Solid organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
· Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving skills.
· Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
