This executive-level role offers the opportunity to shape and lead enterprise-wide sourcing and procurement strategies within a dynamic, fast-evolving environment. You will drive transformation by building a high-impact category management function that delivers measurable cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier innovation. Acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, you will align sourcing initiatives with broader business objectives and ESG priorities. The position combines high-level strategy with hands-on execution, influencing major spend categories across the organization. You will also champion digital procurement tools and data-driven decision-making to enhance visibility and performance. This is a key leadership role with significant influence on financial outcomes and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Define and execute a global strategic sourcing vision aligned with corporate goals, operational needs, and sustainability priorities
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing category management organization across diverse spend categories
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand business requirements and develop sourcing strategies that maximize value
- Develop and implement category strategies that optimize cost, mitigate risk, and enhance supplier performance
- Lead complex RFPs, high-value negotiations, and contract management processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth market and spend analysis to identify savings opportunities and leverage purchasing scale
- Establish supplier performance frameworks, driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, and service delivery
- Ensure governance, compliance, and adherence to procurement policies, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations
- Drive digital transformation by leveraging procurement tools and analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Report on sourcing performance, savings pipelines, and category outcomes to executive leadership
- Promote supplier diversity, sustainability initiatives, and innovation across sourcing activities
- 15+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or business transformation roles, including leadership of strategic sourcing initiatives
- Proven success in building and managing category management functions across multiple spend areas
- Deep expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and high-value deal structuring
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
- Experience with procurement platforms and tools (e.g., Coupa or similar systems)
- Solid understanding of ESG principles, supplier diversity, and sustainable sourcing practices
- Exceptional analytical and financial acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead change, drive transformation, and deliver results in complex environments
- Experience in industries such as live events, hospitality, or large-scale operations is a plus
- Competitive executive salary ranging from $200,000 to $260,000, plus performance-based bonus
