You will analyze drawings, prepare bids, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and help drive successful project outcomes. • Prepare preliminary budget estimates for commercial and residential projects.

• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to produce accurate cost estimates.

• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed scopes of work.

• Prepare design-build, hard-bid lump sum, and competitive bid proposals.

• Develop and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships to support accurate pricing.

• Prepare and issue subcontractor RFPs and bid invitations.

• Solicit, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids.

• Assist with project buyout and budget verification.

• Maintain organized subcontractor/vendor databases and cost histories.

• Update and manage the companys cost database for future estimating accuracy.

• 5+ years of commercial and/or residential construction estimating experience.

• Proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheet applications.

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
