Backflow Insulator at Bob's Backflow – Jacksonville, Florida

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Backflow Insulator to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves installing insulation on backflow prevention devices with a strong focus on precision, safety, and quality workmanship.

This position requires working outdoors year-round, so candidates must be comfortable with varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret rulers and measuring tapes with accuracy

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials to precise specifications

• Apply insulation to a variety of backflow devices using appropriate tools and techniques

• Work with adhesives, paint, and other materials—expect a hands-on environment

• Perform tasks outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)

• Collaborate with team members while maintaining the ability to work independently

Qualifications:

• Strong measurement and basic math skills

• Manual dexterity and an eye for detail

• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons

• Self-motivated, dependable, and a team player
