This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and executing global sourcing strategies across AI, cloud computing, and data center technology categories. You will collaborate with C-level technology leaders and cross-functional teams to drive procurement initiatives that deliver measurable business value, cost savings, and innovation. The role spans multiple regions and sub-categories, requiring strategic vision, commercial acumen, and strong supplier management skills. You will lead complex sourcing projects from strategy through execution, oversee supplier performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on technology-driven transformation with high visibility across the organization. - Develop and maintain global sourcing strategies for AI platforms, public cloud services, data centers, cloud data platforms, AI data services, and related technology categories.
- Partner with senior technology leaders across regions to align category strategies with business objectives and emerging technology trends.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, scorecards, and contract compliance to ensure access to best-in-class services.
- Lead end-to-end procurement events, including RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiation, and execution.
- Track and report financial outcomes, including cost savings, cost avoidance, and value-added initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance frameworks, and ethical standards across all sourcing activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of strategic indirect sourcing experience, primarily in AI, cloud computing, data centers, or related technology categories.
- Proven experience managing global category strategies across multiple regions and delivering complex, high-value procurement projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiation, total cost of ownership analysis, and supplier performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level technology leaders and senior executives.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across procurement, IT, finance, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Familiarity with hyperscaler cloud platforms, AI/ML services, data center operations, and emerging technology trends.
