Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort

- Chart Prep

- Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures

- Manage patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations

- Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and manage patient correspondence

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment

- Educate patients on medication instructions, treatment plans, and health maintenance

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred

- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role Vascular Surgery preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask efficiently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills

- Compassionate, professional, and attentive to patient needs

- Knowledge of eClinical & Epic (EMR) preferred

- 2 Years of Medical Assistant CMA or RMA not required but preferred
