Support to Vigor Marine – Seattle, WA
Based on the existing Vigor Planner/Scheduler II role and expanded to align with the complex operational, production, modernization, and multi-yard integration support needs associated with Vigor Marine programs including MSV(L), CCM, repair availabilities, modernization efforts, and government vessel work.
Position Summary
The Senior Integrated Shipbuilding Planner & Project Controls Engineer serves as a critical link between production, engineering, project management, procurement, testing, and waterfront execution activities across Vigor Marine programs. This role goes beyond traditional scheduling and requires a hands-on shipbuilding professional capable of integrating real-world shipyard operations into executable, logic-driven schedules and production plans.
The selected candidate will support new construction, modernization, repair, and government vessel programs by developing and maintaining integrated master schedules (IMS), coordinating production sequencing, supporting waterfront execution, forecasting schedule and resource impacts, and driving schedule recovery strategies when required.
This individual must understand how ships are actually built, tested, repaired, and delivered in a working shipyard environment — not just how projects look on paper. The role requires routine interaction with production trades, supervisors, engineering teams, subcontractors, waterfront test personnel, and customer representatives.
The ideal candidate is experienced in Primavera P6 scheduling, shipyard production flow, engineering change integration, work package sequencing, and waterfront operations involving military and commercial vessels.
