  • Lead the development of high-scale consumer platforms capable of handling bursty traffic patterns during elections and major civic events.
  • Drive strategy and execution for a unified data foundation, integrating external data sources with AI extraction and human-in-the-loop validation.
  • Partner closely with product leadership to co-own growth strategy, user engagement, and product-led expansion initiatives.
  • Influence cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and marketing to ensure cohesive execution and technical excellence.
  • Guide architectural decisions and long-term platform evolution to support global scale and rapid product iteration.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on development and system architecture.
  • 7+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers and leading large teams.
  • Proven success in building and scaling consumer-facing products at global or high-growth scale.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and launching new product initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in high-scale data systems and platform architecture.
  • Experience designing systems capable of handling high-traffic or bursty usage patterns.
  • Strong understanding of AI-driven product development and data integration strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while driving clarity and execution.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior engineering leadership roles.
  • Remote-first flexibility with global collaboration opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, and wellness support (varies by location).
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact civic technology used by millions globally.
  • Strong focus on innovation, AI integration, and cutting-edge engineering practices.
  • Inclusive, mission-driven environment supporting diverse perspectives and global teams.
  • Career growth opportunities within a fast-scaling, high-visibility product organization.
