This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Environmental Training Specialist and Data Analyst based in the United States.
This role combines environmental science expertise, technical training delivery, and data analysis in support of federal environmental permitting programs.
You will design and lead training sessions for stakeholders involved in complex regulatory processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility of highly technical environmental requirements.
The position plays a key role in supporting Class VI Underground Injection Control (UIC) permitting initiatives through accurate data review, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
You will also contribute to the preparation and validation of scientific materials, ensuring compliance with federal standards and contractual requirements.
A significant part of the role involves coordinating webinars, workshops, and training events, while providing real-time participant support and technical assistance.
You will help ensure environmental datasets are accurate, auditable, and ready for regulatory review and decision-making.
This is a highly collaborative, mission-driven role that blends environmental compliance, education, and data integrity.
- Design, organize, and deliver training sessions for stakeholders and permit applicants involved in federal environmental programs, particularly Class VI UIC permitting processes.
- Develop and present technical and scientific materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between agencies and stakeholders, supporting communication, training delivery, and environmental program outreach.
- Perform data validation, including spot-checking datasets, verifying calculations, and documenting methodologies for auditability and reproducibility.
- Produce technical reports, summaries, and documentation that meet QA/QC standards, accessibility requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate and manage virtual and in-person training events, including scheduling, platform setup, and participant support.
- Track project milestones, maintain records of participation and feedback, and support continuous program improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental programs, technical training, compliance, research, or data-focused analytical roles.
- Strong proficiency in environmental data analysis, with the ability to validate, interpret, and document complex datasets.
- Excellent technical writing and reporting skills, with experience producing government or regulatory deliverables.
- Confident public speaking and facilitation skills for delivering training to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities, including managing multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within contract-driven and multidisciplinary teams.
- U.S. citizenship required; experience with federal or state environmental contracts is preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $93,662 – $103,500 annually, depending on experience and location.
