Spot Welder, 2nd Shift at Valtir LLC – Pell City, Alabama

Valtir is hiring a Spot Welder in our Pell City, AL plant! $17.00 per hour!

This person will spot weld highway crash cushion products from various combinations of steel per print specifications.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am

What you'll do:

• Assemble and spot-weld various parts according to technical drawings using acceptable spot-welding practices. Set up, adjust, and operate spot welding equipment, electrical, pneumatic, and other types of hand tools
• Report all daily production, including rejects, using the proper reporting procedures
• Achieve and maintain established production standards
• Operate pallet jacks and other load engaging equipment, and use approved handling techniques
• Perform general housekeeping procedures such as sweeping, cleanup of spills, organizing work tools and work areas as required
• Operate computer system to perform job related functions
• Clean and make minor repairs to equipment or assist maintenance laborer in these duties as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

What you'll need:

• Work experience in a manufacturing facility required
