Job Description

Talent Acquisition Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager based in Canada.

This is a high-impact, builder-style talent leadership role focused on shaping and scaling early careers and client services hiring across North America. You will own the design and execution of outbound-first recruitment strategies, actively sourcing exceptional talent in competitive and non-traditional environments. The role combines hands-on recruiting, employer branding, and team leadership, requiring someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth settings. You will build strong university and campus ecosystems while also developing scalable sourcing playbooks and recruitment systems. A key part of the role involves partnering with senior stakeholders to translate hiring needs into effective talent strategies backed by data and insights. This is an opportunity to build not just pipelines, but a long-term talent engine and brand presence in critical markets.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and execute an outbound-first talent acquisition strategy for early careers and client services hiring across North America.
  • Build and maintain proactive sourcing pipelines by identifying and engaging passive talent through non-traditional channels and competitive talent communities.
  • Develop scalable sourcing playbooks and structured recruitment processes to improve consistency, speed, and quality of hire.
  • Lead campus and university engagement strategy across Ontario, building strong partnerships with academic institutions, student organizations, and career networks.
  • Design and execute employer branding initiatives to strengthen market presence and attract high-potential early talent.
  • Optimize recruitment funnel performance through data analysis, identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic hiring insights, workforce planning input, and data-driven recruitment recommendations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and execution excellence.
Requirements:
  • 4–7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including 2+ years in a leadership or team management role within a fast-growing organization.
  • Proven experience in high-volume hiring, ideally within early careers, client services, or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Strong track record of building outbound sourcing strategies and campus recruitment programs from the ground up.
  • Experience in employer branding initiatives such as events, content creation, or ambassador programs.
  • Deep familiarity with the Toronto and Ontario university talent ecosystem is highly preferred.
  • Strong data literacy with experience using recruitment metrics to optimize funnel performance and hiring outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Tech-forward mindset with comfort using modern recruiting tools, including AI-enabled sourcing and automation solutions.
  • Strong candidate-centric approach, ensuring high-quality and meaningful candidate experiences throughout the hiring process.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary within a CAD $80,000–$100,000 range
  • Comprehensive health benefits including dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Wellness support including massage, chiropractic, and physiotherapy benefits
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave policies
  • 20 days of annual vacation plus up to 20 remote working days per year
  • Hybrid working model with set in-office collaboration days
  • Regular team social events and company-wide celebrations
  • Tenure-based recognition and reward programs
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture with strong commitment to equity and belonging.
