Job Description

Senior Research & Analytics Associate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Research & Analytics Associate based in United States.

This role is centered on transforming complex healthcare survey and patient data into clear, actionable insights that inform decisions across pharmaceutical and medtech organizations.
You will be deeply involved in both the design and execution of research studies, as well as the hands-on analysis and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data.
The position requires a strong balance between technical analytical ability and narrative-driven storytelling to turn raw data into compelling strategic insights.
You will work closely with clients, translating research findings into meaningful business implications and supporting decision-making in healthcare innovation.
The environment is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and execution-focused, with significant ownership over end-to-end research delivery.
You will operate in a lean team where independence, intellectual rigor, and attention to detail are essential.
This role is ideal for a research professional who enjoys hands-on analytical work and wants to influence real-world healthcare outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, program, and execute quantitative and qualitative healthcare research studies, including survey development and execution using tools such as Qualtrics
  • Analyze complex datasets using statistical tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or similar platforms to identify meaningful patterns and insights
  • Conduct qualitative research activities including interview moderation, coding, synthesis, and thematic analysis
  • Translate raw data into structured, compelling narratives and executive-level reports for pharmaceutical and medtech clients
  • Develop clear, visually compelling presentations that communicate insights and strategic implications effectively
  • Deliver research findings directly to clients and contribute to strategic discussions and recommendations
  • Apply statistical reasoning to validate insights and ensure analytical rigor across research outputs
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to enhance research workflows while maintaining strong judgment around limitations, bias, and data integrity
  • Support healthcare research initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas, including pharma, biotech, and medtech domains

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in healthcare research, market research, consulting, academic research, or agency environments
  • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, structured, and persuasive data narratives
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including survey design, analysis, and interview moderation
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or SAS
  • Experience programming and analyzing surveys using Qualtrics or similar platforms
  • Ability to present research findings directly to clients or senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, especially in PowerPoint or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and ability to apply them to real-world datasets
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability, and lean team environment
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly in research workflows with awareness of bias, privacy, and accuracy risks
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MPH, MS) preferred, though strong bachelor’s-level candidates with relevant experience will be considered
  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, biotech, medtech, or clinical research environments is a strong advantage

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work environment across the United States
  • High ownership role with strong visibility into client-facing research outcomes
  • Opportunity to work on meaningful healthcare research impacting patients and medical innovation
  • Collaborative, fast-moving, and intellectually engaging team environment
  • Exposure to leading pharmaceutical and medtech research initiatives
  • Significant autonomy in research design, execution, and insight development
  • Opportunity to build expertise across mixed-method healthcare research projects
  • Access to cutting-edge research tools and modern analytics workflows
