Maintenance Technician at Dynamic Metals LLC – ELKHART, Indiana

Responsible for the maintenance and repair work for buildings and machinery

Principal Responsibilities:

Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and painting repairs

Implement and perform preventative maintenance on machinery

Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies

Respond to work orders to repair equipment

Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol

Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) book and log - audit yearly for compliance

Use proper Lock Out Tag Out equipment and procedures and perform maintenance operations in a safe manner

Ability to lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects

Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements

Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Detail Oriented

Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated

Mechanically inclined

Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out procedures

General machine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience

Hydraulic and electrical repair experience

Willing to work overtime, as needed

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum three (3) years of maintenance and electrical experience

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
