DRT Aerospace is hiring a Blue Light Inspector / Manufacturing Support Technician to support production and advanced inspection using ZEISS 3D Blue Light Scanning (ATOS) and Hexagon CMM systems.

This is a hands-on aerospace manufacturing role focused on precision, quality, and continuous learning — not general labor.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload aerospace CNC-machined components

• Support production flow and machine operators

• Perform visual inspection for defects and nonconformance

• Use calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges

• Prepare parts for inspection (cleaning, deburring, fixturing)

• Assist with ZEISS ATOS 3D Blue Light Scanning systems

• Support CMM (Hexagon) inspection processes

• Maintain 5S workplace organization and safety standards

Requirements

• Manufacturing, machining, production, or warehouse experience required

• Basic understanding of measurement tools or willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures

• Comfortable with hands-on work and standing for full shifts

Note: This role is not entry-level. Prior manufacturing or shop experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC machining or machine shop experience

• Quality inspection or metrology experience

• Blueprint / engineering drawing reading

• Aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing background

• Prior night shift experience
