Job Description

AI Solutions Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Solutions Architect based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, applied AI, and real-world system integration, focused on embedding intelligent solutions into complex retail and CPG partner environments. You will be responsible for designing and owning the end-to-end data and AI architecture that powers large-scale enterprise deployments. Working in a senior, field-first pod, you will collaborate directly with partner engineering teams to translate ambiguous business needs into scalable, production-ready solutions. The role requires a strong balance of strategic architecture thinking and hands-on technical execution, including coding and real-time prototyping. You will define integration patterns across diverse systems such as ERP, POS, CRM, and modern data platforms, ensuring consistency, scalability, and governance. Acting as a key technical authority, you will influence both partner implementations and internal platform evolution. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role where your work directly enables the deployment of AI-powered systems in production environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Own end-to-end AI architecture, data modeling, integration design, and governance across enterprise partner engagements.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority from pre-sales through delivery, ensuring feasibility and architectural integrity.
  • Design and implement integration patterns between AI platforms and enterprise systems such as POS, ERP, CRM, Snowflake, and proprietary APIs.
  • Map and reconcile partner data models with internal ontologies to enable scalable AI-driven solutions.
  • Prototype and code alongside partner engineering teams to validate solutions in real time.
  • Bridge partner requirements with internal R&D, APIs, and platform capabilities, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Review technical designs and support delivery teams in maintaining architectural standards and execution quality.
  • Define reusable frameworks, patterns, and reference architectures to scale deployments across multiple engagements.
  • Ensure security, governance, and performance best practices are embedded across all solutions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, or senior software engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in designing enterprise-scale data systems and integration architectures in complex environments.
  • Hands-on coding ability with experience building and prototyping production-grade systems.
  • Proven experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ERP, POS, CRM, Snowflake, and APIs.
  • Deep systems thinking with the ability to manage both high-level architecture and detailed implementation.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to both executive and engineering audiences.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, greenfield environments and define architecture from first principles.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and how data quality impacts model and intelligence performance.
  • Experience in retail tech, e-commerce infrastructure, or enterprise systems integration is a strong plus.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation with eligibility for equity grants and performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
  • Retirement savings plans with employer contributions and long-term financial planning support
  • Flexible remote-first work model with periodic in-person collaboration sessions
  • Paid time off, parental leave, and family support programs
  • Mental health resources, wellness programs, and employee assistance support
  • Professional development opportunities, learning budgets, and career growth support
  • Inclusive, high-impact environment working on cutting-edge applied AI and enterprise systems.
