General Summary
The Bartender/Server is responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests through attentive service, quality beverage preparation, and effective teamwork. This role requires a friendly, outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Bartending Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Process guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible service.

Serving Duties

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and other transactions accurately.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining and bar areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending and/or serving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or supplies for extended periods.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service as required by local laws.
• POS system experience.
• Food safety and alcohol service certifications.
• Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional demeanor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
