This role sits at the center of large-scale, high-value energy infrastructure opportunities, driving complex bid strategies across global markets. You will lead the development of competitive technical and commercial proposals for major substation EPC projects, shaping winning solutions in sectors such as utilities, renewables, conventional generation, BESS, and data centers. The position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across regions to ensure high-quality, commercially sound, and timely tender submissions. You will act as a key interface with global customers, influencing negotiations and strengthening long-term strategic relationships. With direct impact on order intake, margins, and pipeline growth, this role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on pursuit execution. The environment is fast-paced, international, and highly collaborative, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and global energy clients.
- Lead the development and execution of winning sales strategies for large EPC and substation projects, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial objectives.
- Manage end-to-end tendering processes, including preparation, submission, and negotiation of complex offers with global energy customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality tender deliverables within approved budgets and governance frameworks.
- Drive pricing strategy, competitor analysis, and value positioning to maximize win probability and commercial performance.
- Maintain visibility of pursuit status for senior leadership through CRM tools, reporting, and structured pipeline management.
- Develop and implement customer engagement plans and represent the organization in industry events and market forums.
- Support forecasting, market analysis, and strategic pipeline development to ensure sustained business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with extensive experience in power transmission or related sectors.
- 15–20+ years of experience in T&D, EPC, or power supply systems sales and tendering (or equivalent senior-level expertise).
- Proven track record of closing large, complex deals exceeding $15M USD.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV AIS/GIS substation equipment and utility/industrial energy markets.
- Experience working with utilities, EPC contractors, and international energy clients across multiple regions.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing strategy, negotiations, and competitive positioning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across senior and multicultural environments.
- Ability to manage multiple high-value pursuits in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong leadership, initiative, and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration without direct authority.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
