Job Description
Title: Social Security Eligibility Specialist
Location : Indianapolis, IN
Work mode : Onsite
We are seeking a detail-oriented Social Security Eligibility Specialist to support benefits processing and case management activities. This role involves submitting Social Security applications, reviewing benefit records, maintaining case documentation, performing data entry, and communicating with government agencies and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Process SSI, CDR, and reconsideration applications
• Perform accurate data entry and record maintenance
• Review benefit payments and audit records for accuracy
• Manage correspondence, document requests, and follow-ups
• Communicate with SSA, DDB, and internal case management teams
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of data entry or administrative support experience
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Social Security programs (SSI/SSA)
• Benefits coordination experience
• Accounting or auditing experience
• Experience with MaGIK and/or KidTracks
• Knowledge of child services, eligibility programs, or social services
