You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for designing and delivering complex electrical test equipment used across industries such as automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing. The position combines strategic leadership with deep technical involvement, ensuring that engineering outputs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and product roadmap objectives. You will oversee project execution, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives while also contributing to customer-facing technical solutions. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and deeply rooted in hardware, automation, and system-level engineering. This is a key leadership role with direct impact on product innovation, operational efficiency, and global business growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team of approximately 12 professionals, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and technical growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end engineering project execution using stage-gate processes to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of customer and product roadmap initiatives.
  • Drive engineering strategy, resource planning, and prioritization aligned with customer needs, manufacturing constraints, and business objectives.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards, documentation practices, and change control processes across tools such as CAD, PDM, and ECO/ECN systems.
  • Contribute to product development by collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership on roadmap definition and technical feasibility.
  • Provide technical guidance on system design, including electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and automation components.
  • Support customer engagements through technical consultation, troubleshooting, and product validation activities both remotely and onsite.
  • Oversee supply chain risk mitigation initiatives, including component obsolescence management and substitution strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration for BOM creation, system integration, and new product introduction.
  • Participate in intellectual property management, M&A technical evaluations, and strategic engineering initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related field).
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical test environments, automated test equipment, or similar hardware engineering domains.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership or management experience in a manufacturing or hardware development setting.
  • Strong understanding of automated test systems, instrumentation, and electrical testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of electronics, PCB design, and PCBA in-circuit testing.
  • Familiarity with motion control systems, including motors, drivers, and control systems.
  • Understanding of RF, analog/digital, and high-voltage/high-current applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience with stage-gate product development processes and project management principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, customer-driven engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business functions.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and leadership responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid vacation and statutory holidays.
  • Career development and advancement opportunities within a growing global organization.
  • Exposure to advanced engineering systems in automation and electronic test technologies.
  • Collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture.
  • Meaningful leadership role with direct impact on product development and business success.
