Workday Financials Integrations Senior Principal Consultant-Global Application Managed Services (AMS)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Financials Integrations Senior Principal Consultant – Global Application Managed Services (AMS) based in the United States.

This role sits at the heart of a global Workday AMS delivery environment, supporting complex Financials integrations and post-production services for enterprise clients. You will act as a senior technical and functional leader, ensuring seamless integration design, stability, and continuous improvement across multiple client accounts. The position combines hands-on problem-solving with strategic oversight, requiring someone comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-impact environments. You will collaborate closely with offshore and onshore teams to manage incidents, enhancements, and optimization initiatives. A strong focus is placed on service excellence, SLA adherence, and proactive issue resolution. This is a client-facing leadership role where your expertise directly influences system performance, user experience, and business outcomes across global organizations.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead integration delivery and AMS operations across assigned client accounts while ensuring high-quality service execution and system stability.

  • Serve as onshore Integration Lead, overseeing Workday Financials integrations and/or Extend workstreams across multiple engagements
  • Apply AMS and implementation methodologies to manage incidents, enhancements, root cause analysis, and ongoing support activities
  • Collaborate closely with global delivery teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintain and improve Workday platform performance, including reporting, security administration, business process configuration, and data management
  • Ensure SLA compliance and drive operational efficiency across all managed service deliverables
  • Lead stakeholder coordination to resolve risks impacting scope, timelines, or service quality
  • Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and process improvements to enhance system visibility and business value
  • Provide on-call and holiday support as required to ensure continuous service coverage
  • Guide and mentor Workday consultants across multiple client environments
Requirements:

This role requires deep Workday expertise combined with strong client-facing and leadership experience in global managed services environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 7–10 years of experience in corporate application portfolios, including 5–7 years in client-facing managed services roles
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Workday Integrations with expert-level knowledge of Workday Financials integrations
  • Workday Integrations certification (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of SLA management and enterprise support models
  • Proven ability to multitask across complex environments and prioritize effectively under pressure
  • Experience working in global delivery models with offshore/onshore collaboration
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple parallel workstreams
