Temporary Clerk-Legal Services at Health Center, Inc. – New York, New York
About This Position
Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services.
We are an established health services organization based in New York City with an opening for a Temporary Clerk for our Legal Services department. The Clerk will work with the Pre-Paid Legal Coordinator and Senior Management Staff, and assist members looking to obtain legal services according to the rules of the plan. The Clerk will process referrals using our Pre-Paid Legal module in the information management system, and keep track of current cases. The Clerk will provide referral guidance to and coordination with our extensive panel of attorneys, both in person and over the phone, and assist with troubleshooting issues relating to the referral. The individual will serve as a first point of contact for members seeking legal services. Please note this role is onsite from our Manhattan office and the assignment is expected to end Late March 2026.
Position Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience in a similar setting dealing with legal services inquiries
Familiarity with legal procedures in order to connect the members with the type of assistance needed
Ability to discretely handle confidential personal information
Strong communication (written/oral) skills
Familiar with MS Office Suite
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Salary: $31.478 Hourly
