Cardiovascular Special Procedures Technician - EP Lab

Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours: Full-time (40 hours/week), day shift.
Department highlights:

Here's What You Need:
Education:
Associate Degree in Applied Science required or
Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology (Must obtain RCIS within six (6) months) required or
High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years' work experience in invasive cardiology required
Experience:
• One (1) year vascular or cardiac angiography experience preferred or
• Two (2) years' experience with high school diploma required
• Two (2) years EP Lab experience strongly preferred
Licensure and Certifications:
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required and
GMRT-General Medical Radiologic Technologist (if ARRT only) upon hire preferred or
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program) upon hire required and
LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (if RCIS only) upon hire preferred or
RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) only) upon hire required and
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required and
What you will do
Texas Health EP Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologists are responsible for assessing and recognizing the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
