Job Summary
The Part-Time Sales Support Associate serves as the first point of contact for prospective homebuyers visiting our communities and provides coverage support for full-time New Home Advisors during scheduled time off, PTO, training, and other absences.
This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional first impression, assisting with customer engagement, maintaining community presentation standards, and supporting the sales team with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment.
Essential Responsibilities

Welcome and engage prospective buyers visiting model homes and communities.
Serve as primary on-site coverage during scheduled absences or days off for New Home Advisors.
Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive first impression for visitors.
Gather visitor information and accurately document traffic and prospect details.
Assist with lead capture, follow-up tasks, and CRM data entry as assigned.
Provide basic information regarding homes, floorplans, pricing, community features, and availability.
Coordinate handoff and communication with full-time New Home Advisors for prospect follow-up.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards of model homes and sales offices.
Open and close model homes or sales offices according to company procedures.
Assist with community events, realtor functions, and special sales events as needed.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance based on assigned coverage schedule.
Follow company processes and procedures for customer interactions and documentation.
Overall Company Requirement
Strict adherence to our internal processes (The Road Home) guide is required.
Additional Duties
Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.
Assist with inventory, supplies, signage, and model home upkeep.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or sales experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings.
Must be at least 18 years old.
OR
Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge and skills.

Conditions of Employment
Pass a criminal background check and social security verification.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Provide valid proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Possess a valid Texas driver's license within 30 days of employment.
Tools & Equipment Used
Use of laptop, iPad, webcam, phone, copier, and other standard office equipment.
Occasional use of safety apparel (hard hats, boots, goggles) when visiting construction sites.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work Environment:
Primarily located in model homes and sales offices.
Frequent interaction with customers and community visitors.
May involve walking construction sites and outdoor exposure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to walk community sites and model homes.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Frequent use of computers, phones, and tablets.
Work Schedule
Part-time hours based on business needs and coverage schedules.
Weekend availability required.
Additional hours may be available during community events, PTO coverage, and peak traffic periods.
