ABOUT THE POSITIONAs a Line Cook, you are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, cooking, and plating breakfast and brunch menu items, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast, proteins, vegetables, sandwiches, soups, and other hot and cold food products. This role helps ensure food is prepared according to T’s standards for timing, portion control, recipe execution, food quality, and plate presentation.
The Line Cook is also responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift, properly stocking and rotating products, supporting smooth kitchen operations, and completing end-of-shift cleaning, restocking, and kitchen closing responsibilities.

- Prepares a variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, French toast, proteins, vegetables, sandwiches, soups, and other hot and cold food products.
- Prepares food for cooking on grills, fryers, stovetops, cold stations, and other kitchen equipment.
- Follows T’s recipes, portion standards, cooking methods, timing goals, and quality plating expectations.
- Ensures hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold according to T’s standards.
- Rotates, stocks, and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to support a smooth service period.
- Follows health department guidelines and company food safety standards for proper food handling, product rotation, temperature checks, and food storage.
- Maintains proper station sanitation, equipment sanitation, handwashing, personal cleanliness, and kitchen cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Uses required kitchen safety and uniform standards, including hair restraints, hats, guards, non-slip shoes, and other required items.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, including floors, cutting boards, sinks, trash receptacles, tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, microwave units, ovens, flat tops, ranges, and refrigeration equipment.
- Completes sanitation checks as required for all kitchen stations.
- Supports teammates during service to help ensure efficient kitchen operations and consistent food quality.
- Closes the kitchen according to end-of-shift checklists for assigned kitchen stations.
- Assists teammates in completing end-of-shift responsibilities for the entire kitchen.
- Attends scheduled team meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
- Communicates effectively with kitchen team members and management to ensure safety, food quality, and service standards are met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTSEducation and Experience- Kitchen preparation or cooking experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Passion for food, cooking, and culinary growth.
- Pleasant, polite manner and a neat, clean appearance.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen setting to ensure safety and food quality standards are met.
- Hours vary based on team member status and the needs of the restaurant.
- Availability on weekends is required.
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Work with hot, cold, and various kitchen equipment.
