About the Role

The Director of Quality Assurance leads organization-wide quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This senior-level role partners closely with executive leadership and department heads to ensure policies, processes, and practices align with regulatory standards, organizational goals, and mission impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements
• Partner with department leaders to develop and audit SOPs
• Conduct internal audits and analyze quality metrics
• Identify quality risks and recommend corrective actions
• Support quality oversight for workers’ compensation, employment claims, and risk management
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend policy updates
• Prepare quality and compliance reports for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
• 5–7 years of experience in quality assurance, quality management, or process improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and compliance standards

Preferred Certifications

Six Sigma, CAPM, CMQ/OE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or similar

Additional Requirements

• Occasional evenings/weekends
• Travel to multiple locations required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
