DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: A Packer (Picker) is responsible for placing labels on finished sandwiches, making sure the assembly of sandwiches is being followed as per the Variable Production Schedule (VPS), and must understand and maintain the label verification process. Count finished products, calculate number of carts per VPS, calculate run rates assigned by VPS and stack finished products in trays. Employees must maintain the production line in compliance with sanitation standards set by LSG Sky Chefs, FDA, USDA and BRC. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to push and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors Must be able to work in cold environment 40< Must be able to walk/ bend/ stand for entire work shift Must be able to follow/understand specifications/ paperwork/ counts Must be able to speak, read and write English Must be flexible and have the ability to react to changing priorities Must possess basic math skills Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Days off subject to change due to shift bidding Excellent disciplinary record
