This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Microsoft D365 Project Manager based in Ireland.
This role is focused on the successful delivery of complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation projects across international environments, ensuring disciplined execution from planning through to go-live. The position plays a critical role in managing delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, quality, and customer readiness, with a strong emphasis on structured execution and proactive risk management. You will coordinate multiple technical and functional teams, ensuring alignment across architecture, development, testing, and business stakeholders. Operating within large-scale ERP programs, you will bring clarity to complexity and ensure delivery risks are identified and managed early. The role is highly hands-on, requiring strong control over day-to-day execution while contributing to governance and strategic delivery planning. - Own the day-to-day delivery of assigned Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects or major workstreams, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, quality, and readiness
- Contribute to pre-sales and project mobilization by supporting delivery planning, budgeting, governance setup, and risk identification
- Co-author Statements of Work (SOW), including assumptions, risks, delivery structure, and change control considerations
- Build and maintain integrated project plans covering architecture, build, testing, data, integrations, and deployment activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, developers, consultants, testers, and customer stakeholders
- Ensure backlog items, requirements, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for delivery
- Drive testing and cutover readiness, including environment coordination, defect management, and go-live preparation
- Maintain strong RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and proactively escalate where needed
- Run governance forums such as steering committees, risk reviews, and change control boards to ensure effective decision-making
- Communicate clear and factual project status updates to customers, senior leadership, and internal stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement of delivery frameworks and standard working practices
- 5+ years of experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP or comparable enterprise transformation projects
- Strong experience in complex, multi-stream, international delivery environments, ideally within consulting settings
- Solid understanding of ERP delivery lifecycles including planning, requirements management, testing, and deployment
- Experience working with structured governance models and delivery frameworks
- Proficiency in RAID management and ability to anticipate and manage delivery risks effectively
- Hands-on experience with DevOps or similar delivery/project tracking tools
- Strong ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of delivery economics and trade-offs
- Structured, proactive, and execution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally (minimum 35%) depending on project needs
