This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Configuration Architect – GuidingCare based in the United States.
This role is a senior-level clinical systems architecture position responsible for defining, guiding, and evolving enterprise-wide configuration strategies within a healthcare technology environment.
You will lead the design and governance of clinical systems architecture, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions across a complex managed care ecosystem.
The position requires deep expertise in HealthEdge/GuidingCare configuration and a strong ability to translate business needs into scalable system designs.
You will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to define standards, roadmaps, and best practices for clinical system implementation.
A key aspect of the role involves analyzing system gaps, troubleshooting configuration issues, and recommending optimized solutions to improve platform performance and usability.
You will also mentor teams, influence architectural decisions, and ensure consistent execution of configuration standards across initiatives.
This is a highly strategic and technical leadership role shaping the future of clinical systems operationalization within a large enterprise environment.
- Define, maintain, and evolve enterprise architecture standards for clinical systems configuration, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and healthcare business goals.
- Lead the design and governance of HealthEdge/GuidingCare configuration frameworks, including best practices, policies, and implementation guidelines.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable and efficient system solutions.
- Evaluate existing system configurations, perform gap analyses, and recommend improvements to enhance platform performance and functionality.
- Troubleshoot complex configuration issues and support resolution of system defects, upgrades, and patch impacts.
- Guide the development of roadmaps for clinical systems capabilities and ensure alignment with long-term enterprise objectives.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to teams working on configuration, integration, and clinical system optimization initiatives.
- Oversee configuration activities to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to architectural standards and delivery timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with HealthEdge/GuidingCare clinical systems configuration and solution design.
- 5+ years of experience within the healthcare or managed care domain.
- Strong expertise in clinical systems architecture, data models, APIs, integrations, and system relationships within GuidingCare.
- Experience defining system standards, roadmaps, and enterprise-level configuration governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex system environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Experience with project leadership or technical leadership roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Facets, BI platforms, and healthcare integration technologies is a plus.
- Competitive salary range: $94,100 – $164,800 annually, with potential bonus eligibility based on performance.
