This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Lead, Lifecycle Services based in Canada.
This role is a strategic, customer-facing commercial leadership position focused on driving growth across lifecycle services within an assigned territory. You will work closely with distributor networks and internal market access teams to build and execute annual business plans that support revenue objectives and long-term customer value. The position combines sales leadership, partner management, and strategic planning to strengthen channel performance and expand adoption of service offerings. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market execution, improving distributor capability, and ensuring alignment with broader business priorities. This is a high-impact role where commercial insight, relationship building, and execution discipline come together in a dynamic industrial technology environment. The role is remote within Canada and includes territory travel.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving lifecycle services growth across your assigned territory while strengthening distributor performance and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Achieve growth and performance targets for lifecycle services across assigned geographies, including services and solutions portfolios.
- Develop and manage annual business plans with distributors, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and accountability for results.
- Monitor business performance, forecasting, and reporting across the territory to ensure consistent delivery against targets.
- Build expertise in lifecycle services offerings, go-to-market strategies, and outcome-based selling models.
- Design and execute commercial strategies and programs aligned with regional and global priorities.
- Assess distributor capabilities, identify skill gaps, and implement development plans to strengthen sales effectiveness.
- Lead the rollout of new service offerings to distributors and sales teams, ensuring strong adoption and execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance customer outcomes, improve service value, and support long-term revenue growth.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements to support market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor leadership to influence performance and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings strong commercial leadership experience, channel management expertise, and the ability to drive growth in a technical or industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, lifecycle services, channel management, or related commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of outcome-based selling and service-driven business models.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and improve partner or distributor performance.
- Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and business planning skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to assess capability gaps and develop structured performance improvement plans.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% across assigned Canadian territories.
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Experience in industrial automation, technology, or similar sectors is considered an asset.
