Global ERP Technical Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global ERP Technical Specialist based in Brazil.

This role is a senior technical leadership position within a global ERP landscape, focused on driving the architecture, evolution, and performance of complex M3 environments. The specialist will lead end-to-end technical initiatives spanning design, implementation, and optimization of ERP solutions across multiple regions and business units. Acting as a key authority on ERP technology, the role blends deep hands-on expertise with strategic decision-making to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. The environment is highly international, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and technical stakeholders worldwide. This position also plays a critical role in defining standards, improving processes, and ensuring alignment between technology and business strategy. Accountabilities

Acting as a senior technical authority, this role is responsible for leading ERP architecture decisions, guiding global M3 initiatives, and ensuring the stability and evolution of enterprise systems. It combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight of ERP platforms and integrations.

  • Lead the design, development, and governance of complex M3 ERP solutions across global environments
  • Define technical architecture, roadmaps, and best practices for ERP systems and integrations
  • Approve system changes, technical documentation, code, and change control processes
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Drive ERP performance optimization, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee configuration, environment setup, and deployment of M3 cloud and on-premise systems
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions, business processes, and global operational needs
  • Support testing strategies, system validation, and issue resolution across regions
  • Mentor technical teams and guide consultants to ensure engineering excellence
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in enterprise ERP environments, particularly within M3 ecosystems, along with strong technical depth and leadership capability. The role requires both architectural thinking and hands-on expertise in large-scale global systems.

  • 15+ years of experience in ERP/M3 environments or equivalent extensive enterprise systems background
  • Deep expertise in multiple M3 functional areas, including cloud implementations and integrations
  • Strong experience with M3 security, interfaces, APIs, and custom development (ION, IEC, BODs, H5 SDK/scripts)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, system architecture, and Windows server environments
  • Proven experience working in global, multi-region enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of change management, business processes, and ERP governance
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and system validation practices
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, influence decisions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex system and integration challenges
  • Leadership experience mentoring engineers, consultants, or technical teams
