This role sits at the intersection of technical support, systems analysis, and healthcare technology operations, supporting mission-critical production environments used by providers and patients across North America. You will investigate complex system issues, analyze database-backed applications, and ensure the reliability of clinical imaging and data workflows. The work directly impacts how healthcare professionals access medical records and how patients receive timely, accurate care information. Operating in a high-responsibility environment, you will troubleshoot beyond surface-level incidents, focusing on root cause analysis and long-term system stability. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to resolve escalations efficiently. This is a hands-on technical role where precision, ownership, and curiosity drive meaningful real-world impact.
- Investigate and resolve escalated production issues impacting providers, clinics, and patients in a timely and structured manner
- Perform deep technical troubleshooting across application layers, including configuration, integrations, and system workflows
- Use SQL to query databases, validate system behavior, and perform root cause analysis of complex issues
- Diagnose and replicate software defects, documenting findings clearly for engineering escalation and resolution
- Support healthcare imaging workflows (including PACS/DICOM environments) and ensure system reliability in production
- Maintain SLAs for high-priority incidents and contribute to operational stability and uptime
- Document recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to improve support efficiency
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Technical Services teams to resolve cross-functional technical problems
- Contribute to implementation and integration projects involving healthcare systems and data exchange
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience supporting production software systems backed by relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Strong ability to write SQL queries to investigate data issues and validate system behavior
- Experience troubleshooting complex, business-critical applications beyond hardware or basic IT support
- Strong understanding of system-level debugging, including configurations, integrations, and workflows
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as PACS, EMR, ERP, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as DICOM or HL7 (nice to have)
- Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure, production-critical environments
