Senior Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive based in South Africa.

This is a high-impact commercial role focused on driving new business growth across international SaaS and technology markets.
You will manage the full sales cycle, engaging qualified inbound and outbound leads while owning your pipeline from discovery through to close.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, with responsibility for building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers in fast-moving, competitive environments.
You will collaborate closely with SDRs, marketing, and customer success teams to refine messaging, improve conversion rates, and accelerate revenue performance.
This position offers exposure to high-growth global clients across SaaS, MarTech, FinTech, and EdTech sectors.
You will operate in a fully remote, international setup where performance, ownership, and autonomy are key drivers of success.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full end-to-end sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through to negotiation and deal closure across mid-to-high value B2B opportunities.
  • Engage and convert inbound and outbound qualified leads, ensuring consistent pipeline progression and revenue growth.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and tailored presentations aligned to client needs and business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across target accounts.
  • Manage pipeline activity accurately using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce, ensuring strong forecasting discipline.
  • Collaborate with SDR, marketing, and customer success teams to improve conversion rates, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through structured execution and disciplined follow-up.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, with a strong track record of closing deals in the $5K–$50K+ ACV range.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, from lead generation through to closing and account expansion.
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales methodologies, pipeline management, and consultative selling approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, with strong pipeline discipline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working effectively in remote, distributed, or international teams.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable operating in a performance-oriented environment.
